Also known as emotional intelligence, emotional literacy simply means you can communicate your emotional state and feelings. We all know your communication skills improve if your vocabulary is constantly growing. You will successfully recognize emotions in others and within yourself if you know a variety of emotions. Good emotional literacy means you know anywhere from 25-35 words, and average is close to 20 words.

Value: a person's principles or standards of behavior; one's judgment of what is important in life. Basically, what we believe is most important for us. Do you know your values? Do you walk your talk? Take a look at the list of words below and circle the ones most important to you:
